Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This website does not use cookies.

Neither first-party nor third-party. There is no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising and no embedded social media content. That is why you will not see a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

1. What a cookie is, and why there are none here

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser and sends back to the server on every visit, which lets it recognise you across sessions. HACKLET LLC built this site without any: we do not need to identify you in order to show you what we do.

You can verify it yourself. Open your browser's developer tools, go to Application → Cookies and you will find the list empty for this domain.

2. The only thing we store in your browser

We use a single piece of local storage to remember which language you prefer to read the site in. It is not a cookie: it is never sent to our server and stays on your device.

hacklet-localelocalStorageRemember the language you selected (Spanish or English) so we do not ask again.Persistent until you clear your browser data.No

It is only written when you change the language with the selector. If you never touch it, nothing is stored and the site simply follows your browser's language.

This is technical storage strictly necessary for a preference you explicitly requested, so it does not require prior consent. You can delete it at any time from Application → Local storage in your developer tools, or by clearing your browsing data. You lose nothing: the site reverts to your browser's language.

3. Fonts and external resources

The site's typefaces (JetBrains Mono, Inter and Fira Code) are compiled and served from our own domain. Your browser makes no request to Google Fonts or any other content delivery network when you visit us, so your IP address is never shared with those services.

4. Server logs

Even without cookies, our hosting provider, Contabo GmbH — nuestro servidor en Lauterbourg, Francia, automatically logs technical data for each request — IP address, browser, requested page and timestamp — to keep the service running and protect it from abuse. These are not cookies and we do not use them to profile you, but you should know they exist. We explain this in detail in our Privacy Policy.

5. If this changes

If we ever add analytics, advertising or any technology that does require cookies, we will do two things before switching it on:

  • Update this page with the detail of every cookie, its purpose and its duration.
  • Ask for your prior consent through a banner with a genuine reject option, installing nothing until you decide.
